Procedures done in-Office

There has been a resurgence of surgical techniques and advancements in technology allowing a number of surgeries/procedures to be done in the clinic. These minimally invasive in-office procedures cost less and are more effective than traditional procedures.
Balloon Sinuplasty Balloon Sinuplasty (aka balloon sinus dilation) is a procedure for the treatment of sinus issues. Our surgeons use balloon devices and image navigation systems from Acclarent, Medtronic and Stryker to safely place small balloons into the sinus cavity to widen sinus openings.
ClariFix® Cryotherapy (i.e., freezing cold temperature) destroys or ablates the targeted tissue resulting in the relief of chronic rhinitis. Out-of-balance nerves may be sending too many signals to the nose, tell it to drip, run and swell more than necessary. ClariFix is a cryotherapy technology used to destroy or ablate these out-of-balance nerves.
RhinAer® The RhinAer procedure treats chronic rhinitis (runny nose, congestion, coughing, itching, and sneezing) by disrupting the nasal nerve that triggers these symptoms.
VivAer® The VivAer procedure treats nasal obstruction, such as trouble breathing through the nose or nasal congestion, by increasing the radius of the nasal valve, shrinking submucosal tissue of the inferior turbinate, and reducing tissue obstruction on the septum. In other words, the nasal airway is opened. This procedure does not alter the exterior aesthetics of the nose.
The Tula System Procedure to comfortably place ear tubes in awake children during an office visit.
PROPEL® Sinus Stent Postoperative challenges to endoscopic sinus surgery including scarring and inflammation that block the sinuses again. PROPEL implants feature an innovation 2-in-1 mechanism that opens the sinuses while delivering medication. These implants are composed of a bioabsorbable material, which mean they do not need to be removed later.
